Grade 2 Tiles have a water absorbtion of less than 12% and are suitable for Moderate Climates, but in no case should be used in regions like New York, Chicago, Etc.??
Grade 3 Tiles, allow greater than 12% and are typical of handmade tiles, that are fired at low temperatures.? This tile, while beautiful and rustic, should only be used in Tropical Climates with special attention paid to quality underlayments like Tarco PS200 HT.??
