This authentic handmade tile is created by a skilled artisans & fired in coal heated kilns to produce flashes & clay tiles that cannot be reproduced with modern machine made tiles. Unlike most handmade tiles that are fired over wood, the coal produces much higher temperature resulting in a tile with low water absorption & much higher breaking strengths then traditional handmade tiles. Alhambra tile is for the true disauctioning buyer who doesn’t want to settle for “the almost handmade look.”

This authentic tile is created from a very special grade of clay in Central America  by skilled artisans.










These beautiful and durable tiles are hand formed over wooden molds and fired in wood fired kilns.










This  age-old process produces an earthy charm in the range of four standard shades.










(1. Terracotta, 2. Fire Flashed Terra Cotta, 3. Brown, and 4. Tan). Custom blends can be achieved by mixing these rich warm tones.
